Leanbean in Germany

Military wife trying to figure out this military life

We were lucky when moving to Germany, due in part to us not having to go through the hassle of finding a house.  A captain was cross training to the C-130J model in Little Rock and asked Joe when we were moving to Germany.  She told him she thought her friends were moving back around the same time and that we should try to find out if their house would be available.  Joe asked what I thought and we quickly jumped at the chance.  The previous couple was so great about sending us pictures and getting us set up with the paperwork.  It was as if someone was looking out for us.  I thought it would be fun to show some pictures of what our house looked like when the previous couple lived here.

The living room:

The “office” area as we call it was occupied by this large German hutch.  Notice the same ugly curtains:

Their dining area aka Lucy’s play area:

The old kitchen we do not miss one bit:

The bathroom, which we haven’t shown yet:

The master bedroom.  Notice the soul sucking gaping hole to the closet:

Guest bedroom, another never before seen room:

It’s pretty cool to see the house furnished in a completely different style.  For me, it’s hard to believe it’s the same house!

I love the kitchen but where is the refrigerator?
